By Air:
The Highlands are opening up by air! British Airways has direct scheduled flights between Inverness and London Gatwick, Edinburgh and Glasgow. BMI flies Inverness to Heathrow. Easy Jet has flights between Inverness and London Gatwick,  London Luton and Bristol. There are also direct flights to / from Birmingham and Manchester with Eastern Airways and direct flights to Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool, Nottingham, Southampton and the Northern and Western Isles. Inverness airport is only half an hour's drive from Fodderty Lodge and hire car is available from the airport.

By Rail:
Inverness is the final stop on the North-bound main-line railway. You can arrange a hire car to be there to meet you or there are connecting trains further North to Dingwall.

By Car:
Fodderty Lodge is really easy to find! When travelling north from Inverness on the A9 over the Kessock Bridge, at the Tore Roundabout take the second exit A835 signposted to Dingwall / Ullapool. (Those travelling south on the A9 must turn right at the Tore Roundabout.) On reaching the Maryburgh roundabout, turn right into Dingwall. Follow the road around Dingwall turning left at the traffic lights onto the A834 signposted to Strathpeffer.

Fodderty Lodge is midway between Dingwall and Strathpeffer, up the first turning on the left, half a mile after the railway bridge. It is the only house on the righthand side of this lane. Stop when you reach the garage!
